"Me"
"Me"
9"x12" pen and ink - August, 1986

"He was brilliant ... He was handsome ... And Ted was physically strong."

With sharply center-parted hair, strong angular features, and a muscular build, this stylishly dressed man represents the facade Bundy presented to others, his outward self.  It may even represent the idealized self-image toward which he aspired.

The figure is realistic with relatively ordinary features except for the deep part in the hair.  Perhaps this symbolizes a division within the self.  Whether or not, it is the masculine counterpart of the center-parted hair shared by many of his victims.
